A Kenya and Tanzania Safari will take you to Masai Mara Game Reserve famous for the wildebeest migration, one of the Wonders of the World. It is here that the Great Migration happens each year. Millions of wildebeests and zebras migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania into Kenya’s Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of greener pastures. These animals cross the crocodile-packed Mara River; most make it across while the unfortunate ones are feasted on by the hungry crocodiles. The wildebeest migration takes place in July through to October.

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
This combined Kenya and Tanzania Safari starts from Nairobi.

Pick from airport and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley. A stopover to take photos at the Great Rift Valley view point after which continue to Lake Nakuru National Park. Start game drive as you drive towards the lodge. Arrive for dinner and overnight. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara Game
Early morning game drive in the park. After which – depart for Masai Mara, one of East Africa’s most famous reserves, The Mara consists of undulating hills and great rolling grasslands that sustain some of the most varied wildlife in Africa, if not the world. Arrive in the evening.  Game drives here include, lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest, gazelle and other plains game abound, not forgetting the hundreds of species of birds.

Day 3: Another day in Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full days dedicated to game spotting in this sprawling reserve. You can watch a lion, cheetah or leopard hunting or feasting on its kill. Option of a visit to a Masai village or a hot-air balloon ride that starts at 06.00 am and ends with a Champagne breakfast on the plains. What an exhilarating experience!

Day 4: Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to isbania border point and cross to Tanzania side. Drive to  Serengeti National Park. Game drive in the park with packed lunches.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Serengeti –Ngorongoro National Park
Depart after breakfast for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving for early lunch at the Lodge. Descend to the floor of the crater (14.00 Hrs) for game viewing in this unique park. Spot: Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Leopard, Cheetahs, Buffaloes and   Hippos. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 7: Ngorongoro –Amboseli
Depart after breakfast for Amboseli National Park with lunch boxes, with clear view of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Drive across Namanga Border, arriving at Amboseli in the late afternoon good time for an evening game viewing starts at 16:00hrs.This Park is the home of Elephants, Wildebeest (Gnu), and Buffalos, Gazelles, Lions, Cheetahs, monkey families and rare bird species. In the early evening, the clouds clear, exposing the snow –capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro.  Dinner and overnight at the Lodge
