On your way, you will pass through the bustling industrial town of Thika and the lush, cultivated farms of central Kenya. Upon arrival at the club, check in and savor a delicious lunch.

Aberdare National Park boasts a diverse topography featuring icy rivers, breathtaking waterfalls, and lush rainforests. The unique flora and fauna found here are unlike any other in Kenya, with wildlife including leopards, elephants, servals, waterbucks, reedbucks, dik-diks, rhinos, and the elusive bongo. You are sure to catch sight of elephants and buffaloes at the floodlit waterholes of The Ark. Furthermore, the park is home to a rich birdlife, highlighted by the striking monkey-eating crowned eagle.

Day 2: Aberdare National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, we will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. At 3:00 PM, get ready for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its iconic flamingos and over 400 species of birds. The lake, a soda lake situated in the Great Rift Valley, can appear completely ringed in pink during peak flamingo season—a truly spectacular sight!

In addition to flamingos, Lake Nakuru is renowned as a vital sanctuary for endangered species, particularly the Rothschild giraffe and both black and white rhinos. Keep an eye out for lions, waterbucks, buffalo, and baboons, all of whom call this park home.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Today, you will travel via the Great Rift Valley to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will arrive just in time for lunch at your camp. Afterward, take some time to relax and soak in the stunning sunset over the Mara.

Equally important, this is the location of the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti in Tanzania, in search of water and pasture.
